Dr. Savage initially came to chiropractic in his youth—as a patient. An athlete in his teen years, he injured his low back so severely that he was advised to undergo back surgery by his physician. Instead, he followed the advice of a family friend and sought the services of a recommended chiropractor. The result: Dr. Savage was able to overcome his spine and nerve injury and also initiated an exercise program that is part of his life to this day.
Given such a positive experience—one that allowed full recovery without surgery or heavy medications—it should be no surprise that Dr. Savage became a staunch advocate of chiropractic. The chiropractor who had treated his athletic injuries became his mentor and urged Dr. Savage to seek a career in chiropractic. The result: Since 1986, Dr. Savage has been making the same kind of difference in hundreds of people’s lives through his own chiropractic practice.
Dr. Savage doesn’t just impact his patients’ lives in a positive way; he also contributes to other chiropractors through mentoring and coaching. He is one of the leading teachers and coaches in Chiro Advance Services, Inc., a business that helps many doctors perfect their technique, skills, marketing and business strategies.
Dr. Savage is a regular speaker at local colleges, such as DeAnza College, Life College West, as well as his alma mater, Palmer College, and devotes a great deal of time to promoting chiropractic as a health maintenance program for all individuals.
